Beyond The Barracks: Nigel's NS Milestone

How time has zoomed by! Just 22 months back, we waved goodbye to Nigel as he started his Army training to become an infantry reconnaissance scout. And now, he's completed NS, a free lad, ready for the next part of life.

The beginning felt like a tough journey for us and him. But in a flash, he's done with it all. The usual Friday book-outs and Sunday book-ins flew by without a thought. The expected drudgery? Nowhere in sight. Where did all the time go??

We're fortunate, I reckon, to have National Service in Singapore – a program which instills discipline, and pride, and fosters technical know-how and collaborative abilities in young lads. These skills become valuable tools for their life journey.

Kudos, Nigel! You've not only weathered the demanding infantry training but also demonstrated that with grit and stamina, one can truly achieve anything!
