The Lockdown Lowdown

So our lockdown began yesterday. Officially, it's being called a circuit-breaker - a bit like when you accidentally try to electrocute yourself at home and the circuit-breaker trips to cut power to the entire house. And it looks like we are being slowly electrocuted by this virus, so we definitely need to try and shut it down.

Sometimes the PC sits on the chair and you sit on the floor.
So all three kids have no school. But they have home-based learning, which is a combination of live lessons and worksheets, scheduled to make one think they are virtually still sitting in their classroom in school. However, it doesn't quite work (maybe it takes a bit of getting used to) and everyone in the house ends up being annoyed with one another for getting in the background of the video calls.

It's just a matter of time before an all-out fight erupts and the cops have to be called in.

But seriously, our lockdown is not really that bad - we went to ECP earlier and it was quite packed with families playing football, people rollerblading, camping in tents, flying kites and so on. It almost seemed like it was holiday time and there was no such thing as a virus.

I think this can only mean one thing. Additional lockdown measures! Now that's scary.
