Thank you 2019

So here we are, at the end of the year and decade. What have we done that the time just sped by so quickly, fleeting, in the blink of an eye? Moment by moment, we waste our lives on somewhat unnecessary tasks like arguing, gossiping, checking our Whatsapp messages, while time marches on relentlessly, eating up precious moments of our lives.

As with every year, I look back thinking it was good – not perfect, but I wasn’t expecting perfection anyway; life is full of lots of ups and downs (as sung by the late Tommy Page), so you try to enjoy the highs while riding out the lows.

Thank you 2019 (if it makes sense to thank a set of days) for your kindness and support - for taking us through your calendar safely. You've watched our children grow by another year, sent some of them on to new schools where they will meet fresh experiences and challenges next year.

We pray for continued good health (which is the most important) amongst all family and friends, stay close, safe and always try your best in whatever endeavor you set your mind to.

Time to say Hello to 2020 soon!
