Passion vs Pressure

Nigel has been working (a little too) diligently on his song, No Mercy, for many months now. In fact, he was working on it through his exam preparations and school projects - so even when it came to his academic work, he showed no mercy towards that.

I need to ask him why he chose the name Mortal Kingdom, which sounds very dark.
He kept making changes to the sound, instruments, arrangement and so on - but to the untrained ear (like me perhaps), it sounds pretty much the same as when I first heard it some months ago. But he seems to be really into the minute details, which I told him doesn't make a difference to casual listeners, but he insists that it matters to him - so he literally stayed up till 4am on some nights to work on it, which really got us angry as it deprived him of a healthy night of sleep. So this is really his labour of love - I think he spent more time making this that he did studying for his year-end papers.

He released it at midnight this morning, and for some reason or other, it had to be precisely at that time, like an actual professional release. I think it's Dub Step, if you know what that means. Have a listen to it here and like it.
