Luge out, here we come!

Ok, this holiday is not a holiday. As with every other September holiday, it is study time. But this year, it is critical for Amber as her PSLE is just a few weeks away, literally, not kidding, just two weeks.

Still time for some luge?
But show me a kid who can study from morning till night without having a bit of fun, or at least the promise of some excitement later on? The problem with Amber (and Nigel also) is that without any form of external motivation, they run out of steam fast. It's all about rewards, what comes next, what will you give me if I study. Sigh.

The good thing is that the cousins were staying in Sentosa over the weekend and we managed to squeeze in some time to join them for a couple of rides on the Luge. The adults joined in too!

The Sentosa Luge has expanded somewhat with two chairlift systems and 4 luge routes, all still a little too short, given the rather small piece of land on which they initially built the first path - they would have to relocate or come up with some innovative ideas if they want to really extend it.

Nevertheless, we had fun zooming down the routes in the cover of darkness, together with RFID helmets, flashing LEDs and squealing kids.
