Why you should play with your kids when they are young ...
Most parents know that children grow - in fact, rumour has it that they grow older every day. At first, these tiny tots run around aimlessly looking for action, adventure - suddenly, they want to stay home as they need to finish up school projects.
Where's the fun? And the dining table? |
There was a time I was able to tempt them away from doing their homework (to Celest's loud protests) by promising a trip to the beach, a movie or ice-cream, but nowadays finishing up projects seems to win. Actually, movies and ice-cream still work 😆
But with the number of projects and homework they get these days, it is difficult to squeeze in some quality fun time. Long gone are the carefree days of lazing on the sand, or playing frisbee at the park. I'm glad I managed to do those things.

But you know me, I'll continue to try and play with them. Even if it means getting an earful from their teachers (or mother).
