Bonding while Saving The World

This is (technically) my last year of volunteering in Amber's (and previously Shannon's) school as she will be leaving at the end of this year upon the completion of her PSLE - there are parents who continue to volunteer, but that's another story to be told later.
Just some Dads, helping to save the world.
When I eventually leave, one of the things I will definitely miss is the Dad-only events which have made me many friends amongst the other fathers in the school. These include the monthly recycling sessions in which we have to work together with the school to do our part for the environment.

For one morning, we become karang guni men, sweating away while carrying newspapers (and other recyclables) down from the classrooms to the bins on the ground floor. It is hard work and hot - but the reward we get is in knowing that we are collaborating to help make a difference, no matter how small it might be.

Thanks guys! Enough trash talking for now.
