I've never written about our pet hamster Hami. As shown in the picture, he's small, grey and innocent - the innocent part you can't really tell so I"m just assuming that all hamsters by their very nature are innocent.

He's been with us for a year and almost every day, the girls take him out from the cage and let him run all over the floor and themselves, which might not be very hygienic. Then again, the hamster might be more worried about that given how reluctant kids are to taking a bath.

I think it helps them de-stress after a day in school and makes up for us not having a dog - although you don't take a hamster on a walk. At least normal people don't.
