After-exam boredom

At this point in time, 2 out of 3 of the students in our homely residence have completed their exams, leaving just one to miserably slog it out on her own. From next year, she will be the only child to still be in Primary school so this might be a common situation for a short while more. Im not saying if its a good or bad thing, but thats just the way it is. Sometimes you have to study while others are fooling around.

Shannon, being a somewhat responsible and caring older sister, seems to be helping Amber with her exam preparation but it tends to degenerate into conversations about slime and other off-topic ideas which steal time away from finishing up that test paper. But you can tell the intention is there and sometimes, the teaching can get pretty serious and intensive, and might actually be effective.

Nothing beats free tuition from your older sister
Nigel is constantly complaining about being bored mumbling about wanting to play Xbox, Clash Royale and games on the PC. His world seems to revolve around playing games. He still likes reading books on his Kindle, although he reads with a terrible posture, half-sitting half-lying down on his bed with the device less than 12 cm away from his nose, but you can tell he much rather be staring into a tiny phone-screen while mindlessly bombing enemies in remote castles.

So what will happen when the year-end holidays really arrive? Six weeks of Im bored. Can I play Xbox?
