Make Time For Kids
Timing tends to be bad – every
time they are free of want to ramble on about their day, I seem to be busy with
work and some other seemingly important task. Why is that?

Maybe fate has it such that the stars never align and we
never get a chance to spend quality time with our children? Or are we not
making ourselves available to them at times when they are available? Note that
kids normally have shorter availability hours because they are in school, have
homework to do, go to bed earlier and so on while adults (OK, me, since I can’t speak for everyone) have no
homework to do and go to bed later. Mathematically speaking, their free-time is
a subset of mine and as a result, I have to make time for them.
So make time for them – and
stop what you’re doing when you need to. Because
one day you will want to stop, and it wouldn’t matter.
