Someone is missing

Amber sometimes doesn't like taking pictures, especially in foodcourts

Celest is back from her overseas trip, but Nigel still isn't. It is feels a bit on the quiet side - actually to be honest, most of the noise comes from the females in the house, so that earlier statement is not fully accurate.

What I mean is that we do feel a bit incomplete when the entire family is not present. It's like having a missing tooth or trying to play football without the goalkeeper. Or having a goalkeeper with a missing tooth.

Sunset view (From Nigel Chong)
Celest has been complaining about Nigel's lack of communication skills - even though it's via WhatsApp, one of his two most used apps on his phone (and I would suspect for most of us). She would type a really long message including things like "How have you been?", "What did you do?", How is your cough?", "Where did you go running? Take care of yourself".

All she gets back is a "Good." or "OK." Sometimes the OK is not even capitalised - which is just impolite. He did, however, send this single beautiful picture of the sunset and mountains in the distance after his run yesterday. It was simply captioned, "This was the view from the mountain."

I hope he's using Wi-Fi and not data roaming. Although with those mini-answers, it might not be a big deal.
