The final stretch

This Thursday, the dreaded PSLE begins. Yesterday, Nigel said he hoped the haze would return, so the exams would be moved to an air-conditioned location - I thought he was going to say cancelled or postponed. So at least it isn't as bad as I thought. It's just the younger generation's love affair with the air-conditioner.

Actually he already got into a school of his choice (just needs to pass) though the running that he did for his primary school, so that takes a bit of the stress away. But we all heard about the story of the tortoise and the hare right? And complacency is not really something we want to instill in our kids too. A little bit of stress is also a good thing, to keep one on their toes and push one towards a spirit of excellence. Wah! So easy to type out such things.

Anyway, 3 more days, let's go for it Nigel. Give it your best shot!
