Absence
Daddy, where's my food? (Shannon at 6 years old) |
It is her overnight zoo camp which all primary four students in her school attend - an annual ritual/retreat if you must.
Based on the schedule, they would just be done with their tram ride around the Night Safari now and would be walking back to the main zoo where they are camping out in four men (girls) tents tonight - hopefully not too near the tiger enclosure - for the sake of the tigers.
I'm sure she and her classmates are having a REALLY fun time. I imagine lots of talking, giggling, screaming and so on - typical things that girls do when there are a few of them together - and there are 120 of them at the zoo tonight. I think the animals won't get any sleep.
I miss her already. But I know she doesn't miss us! Looking forward to getting back a tired, happy girl tomorrow, who probably didn't sleep at all!
Goodnight Shannon!
