Shannon wants a phone
It seems like all of Shannon's school friends have phones, some of them even iPhone 6s. She is, apparently, the only one who does not have one at this point. It's not like she has urgent calls to make (the school has public phones and the general office phone is also easily available for use). Say it with me, it is "peer pressure".
She started by subtly hinting to us that she needs a phone. And then started asking everyday "When can I get a phone?'.
Today she tried something new. She asked me "Daddy, I have to ask you a question. It's not from me, but my friends. So my friends want to know when I will be getting a phone?". And then she had to reassure me again "It's not me. My friends, they are the ones who want to know."
I could have sworn she even sighed, giving the impression of "I give up, my friends are so bossy. What can I do? It is such a pain having such friends."

I tell you, this girl is learning all the tricks. :)
