Ikea milestones

Shannon can't decide if she's happy or tall.

It seems like it wasn’t that long ago when Nigel last entered the Ikea playroom to run around, climb the wall and do some extreme colouring. And suddenly one day he was too tall, overshooting the blue circle - and the bouncers didn’t let him through the gates anymore for fear he would terrorize the younger children. So our two daughters went in on their own to have their own brand of girly fun.

Look what happened now. Shannon decided to suddenly grow into the blue circle too.

Amber’s not too far behind. But anyway, she said she wasn’t going to go in on her own as it was too “boring”. We’ll try to sneak the both of them in one last time this holidays (Shannon might have to walk like a duck, inconspicuously) and who knows, that could be the last time ever that they would experience the fun and joyful times of the Ikea playroom.

Such are the milestones of life – as marked by a mega-furniture store.
