Amber recently turned SEVEN. It's amazing how these birthdays seem to almost happen on an annual basis. And taking inflation into consideration, each birthday cake costs more and more too!

We are lucky - in the girls' school, they allow parents to sneak into the canteen (well, not really, you need to get a visitor pass) in and set up your cake, goodie bags, drinks, plates and other party essentials so that when your daughter comes down for recess, VOILA! Instant party mix!! Just add friends and a dash of laughter, creamy nose-tips and pinafores!
