Holidays and School Days
There are advantages and disadvantages to mostly everything in life.
Same for Holidays versus School Days.
School Days:
- Have to wake up at 6.15am.
- Have to drive out at 7am when the roads are jammed up.
+ Peace and quiet in the mornings after the morning mayhem.
Holidays:
+ No need to wake up at 6.15am.
+ No need to drive out at 7am when the roads are jammed up.
- No peace and quiet at all.
You can see that even though School Days have two disadvantages, the Peace and Quiet bit really is a big consideration point. Some days, you really need that bit of silence to focus on your conference call, email or to catch up on an extra 30 mins of sleep - all of which you can't really do when you have some screaming monkeys running around pretending to be children.
But having said that, if you really wanted Peace and Quiet, you wouldn't have had kids in the first place. Or maybe you didn't really sit down to think about it.
