Holidaying with the kids

 As you know, going on holiday with children is very different from going on holiday without children.

Actually, besides the loud yelling and singing, constant bickering and daily complaints about the food, weather and each other, it wasn’t too bad. Also, I have taken note that you can play catching anywhere, including the back seat of the car. We were also very firm about not taking the Heelys^TM to Australia.

When you take young kids on a vacation, it is really all about them. Theme parks, beach visits, arcade game centers, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and so on - a lot of consideration is placed into thinking about their entertainment and amusement. Sometimes you end up forgetting that you came along for the holiday too!

Oh well – as they say, when you have kids, your life changes. And when you have change, it goes to your kids.
