Helping out in church
Today, the Primary Fours in church catechism had an outreach program where they were asked to invite non-Catholics friends to church for mass and an afternoon of fun games. As part of the events, Nigel was chosen to become a “warden” for a while. He had to wear a white long sleeve shirt and we weren’t sure what he was to do.
Suddenly, during the offertory segment, he and his friends were whisked away and next thing we knew, he was holding on to the money collection bag and going around the pews. You should have seen the big smile on his face when he came out – that’s one of his to-do items checked off!
Good thing he was assigned to our section and I managed to snap this picture before dumping some cash into his bag.
