Our June holiday has ended
Tomorrow is the start of Term 3 - early mornings for me and even earlier for Celest.
But really, we had a great holiday and did almost everything we wanted to, except maybe win a fortune in the casino.
I spent alone time with the 3 kids, which was fun. We hung at the beach several times, at Sentosa, East Coast, even doing a mini-BBQ. We went mini-golfing, trekking in the jungle, walking in the misty hills and scooting instead of eating at a picnic. The kids earned (Kidzania) money while doing jobs like manicuring other kids, cleaning windows and delivering newspapers. They learned how to build ice-cream robots, they made new friends, like Fluffy and Max.
One month might seem like a pretty long time, but it flies by in a real hurry - so our motto was to make every day, every moment count. It didn't really matter where or who we were with, but the conversations and experiences we were sharing.
