Day 3 - The Tuesday

If I can survive Tuesday on my own, I can do anything. Heard of that expression?

Anyway, Tuesdays are music days as the kids have piano and ballet. And to add to the complexity of things, Shannon's ballet is held at a separate location about 10 minutes walk away. Most Tuesdays, we have 3 adults to rush the kids around - Celest, my dad and me. It involves dropping off, parking the car, sending, waiting, picking, having meals, picking after meals, walking to and from Shannon's dance studio two times. And the schedule of each lesson, be it piano or ballet is staggered and/or overlapping and/or nonsensical. Amber does ballet. Nigel does piano. Shannon does piano and ballet.

So this Tuesday I had to do everything on my own since even my dad is away on a nice European holiday.

My plan of attack was to get in early, eat quickly and when time permits, get out early, make older kids wait for a while where possible and ensure minimal loss of lives, and water-bottles.

I'm happy to report that, besides Amber doing her usual bit of crying and wailing before her ballet class, everything went great. Ah, and also, I almost lost Shannon at the end of her class because she doesn't seem to know her left from her right and has no idea where the free parking spots are along East Coast Road. But that's a story for another day.

I forgot - I brought Amber for a walk in the morning to the Bedok jetty and saw this cat. Meow!
