One Child Policy, the benefits

When you have just one child, you won't hear the following:

• Mummy, Shannon was playing with your phone, how come I don't get to play.
• Daddy, you have to smack Ge Ge because the didn't finish his food.
• Ha ha, now I get to sit in the front seat for fourteen times.
• Scream, scream, punch, punch, ouch, crying. Mummy, Ge Ge hi me.
• Daddy, Jie Jie's leg is on my bed - I cannot sleep.

And the list goes on.

I'm trying to learn to let them settle their own disputes. For now, it could be by shouting, exchanging stickers, and tearing up each others drawings. When they get older, it might be blackmail, Facebook wall posts and lawsuits.
