Where did my hair go?

Celest took out the scissors yesterday and went crazy. Shannon got a trim. Ok, more like a hair decapitation - she had long locks, now she looks a bit like a boy.

And from what I hear, when Shannon remembered that she has her ballet examination next week (where the girls typically arrange their hair into neat little buns) she cried and cried and just couldn't stop. Celest said she felt really bad and tried desperately to glue the pieces back, which only made things worse. Her hair was short and really sticky - I'm only joking.

When I saw her the next morning (see picture), she was back to her usual smiling self, but did mumble to herself several times about not being able to tie, not being able to braid, unbunnable and so on. Just mumbling, which is ok.I gave her a hug and told her that she still looked like a beautiful princess, which brought a smile to her now very visible face.
