Shannon's down with the fever
The fever struck Shannon on Sunday morning. She woke up crying and we thought it was because Nigel and Amber were picking on her (which they actually were). Even while sitting on the sofa watching cartoons, her eyes were red with tears and we wondered what the deal was.
Her forehead was hot and she was lethargic. If I remember right, her temperature was around 38.5C. She didn't have an appetite and just wanted to lie down. So she did, and Celest stayed home with her. Her stomach wasn't feeling well too, and we suspected it was a case of the stomach flu.
It's Tuesday night now, and even after visiting the doctor yesterday and taking medicine, she hasn't been able to shake the fever, although I think her tummy's feeling slightly better. She's sleeping in our room, next to my desk and I'm hoping she'll wake up at 36.9C all fine and dandy to go to school.
Our poor little princess, had to skip ballet and piano today and hasn't been to school since Friday.
