Scissors, Paper, Stone .. what?
Given the seating arrangements in the car where Nigel and Shannon are never sitting in the same row - one normally sits in front next to the driver and the other sits behind - they have had to reinvent some games.
The traditional Scissors, Paper, Stone, for example, requires players to be sitting facing each other so they can see each others selected object; but this doesn't really work so well in our situation. So they came up, with some tips from us, with a modified version. It goes like this: "Scissors, Paper, Stone, I'm <OBJECT>".
Nigel: Scissors, Paper, Stone, I'm Stone.
Shannon (simultaneously): Scissors, Paper, Stone, I'm Paper.
In this case, Shannon would have won.
This way they can even play the game over the phone! But we don't encourage calling other people within the same vehicle using the phone.
Of course, hearing "Scissors, Paper, Stone, I'm Stone" over and over again can drive one nuts.
