My Granny is a fighter

As you might know, my grandma has been hospitalised for the past week. However, she did come over on the eve of the New Year and participated quite nicely in our dinner.

We saw her a few days prior to the new year and she looked to be overly medicated and tired - however, miracles happen and on the eve, my Aunt said she was looking extra lively and enthusiastic about coming over for dinner.

This was a definitely good as it gave her a chance to see her great-granchildren, which have not been to the hospital to visit. I hope she didn't find the noise too overwhelming.

She had a nice meal, got to speak to the kids and take pictures  - but she left quite exhausted I guess.

We just saw her this morning and they are trying to wean her off the oxygen. However, she has some asthma and they are being careful about that. She's a fighter though. We're keeping her in our prayers.
