Shannon the politically correct
Last week I had to tie Shannon's hair up for her ballet class as Celest forgot to do that. So I took her rubber-bands and did what I could - which I felt was ok.
Later that night, when we got home, she cam up to be and said "Daddy, I really like the way you tie my hair, it is so nice".
3 second delay.
She continued, "But maybe next time, you can tie it like this (straight tony tail instead of a loop back) like how mummy does it".
I had to agree and found that her level of empathy for my hurt feelings was genuine, and it had nothing to do with her wanting sweets from me.
