Kids and their smarts
Celest was really "hammering" Shannon this morning because she had trouble with her ABCs and some simple concepts. Seems like Shannon isn't really very academically inclined (at this point). But then again, she's only five and isn't really the logical thinker that Nigel is.
Shannon also doesn't really respond well under pressure. It seems the more you bark at her, the slower and more timid she becomes and basically her whole mind becomes a mess where even the simplest thing turns into a huge challenge.
I told Celest to take it easy on her, but I guess she was at a point of frustration where it was difficult to step back and take a deep breadth.
Shannon's more of a social, touchy-feely type of person who can converse, share and probably draw people out - just as long as it doesn't involve numbers and musical notes.
