The new nephew
On Friday, Fred and Bihye brought back their yet to be named baby boy, Number Two. He was born one day after me (plus a several years) and looks almost like his big brother. All of us went down to Orchard Road to visit him on Thursday and that is a picture of Celest carrying him. She's smiling somewhat because she knows that, cute as the baby is, he's going to cause trouble at night - but, not for us. Our days of small bundles of joys are over, at least for this year :) If you're reading this, you might be thinking hmmm.
So, given we're all staying together now, there is actually an now extra person in the house. However, I've only seen him once and haven't gotten a chance to carry him (besides once in the hospital). This new human is very elusive - preferring to hide out in the comfort of his room, recuperating from his long 9 month journey and sudden arrival on our warm and sunny shores. If I listen with great intent, I do hear some distant squeaks and wails sometimes, but it's difficult to discern the noises in our house given we have children under various stages of vocal training, activated electronic devices and occasional visiting civet cats.
But one day Number Two, hopefully properly named then, will make more frequent appearances and announce his arrival by attempting to climb on to the dining table and haul down someone's lunch.
