The world is a dangerous place

Since when have we had to become such a fearful species, for our own lives, for the lives of our children.

SARS, HFMD, Swine Flu - what else? It used to be just Aids, which was relatively easy to defend against - but now it's in the air, on the door knobs, in the school bus.

Nature is fighting back against the recklessness of humanity, the continued greed at the expense of the earth. And who are the ones we are putting most at risk? Our children, future generations who have yet to be born into this increasingly fragile world where danger seems to be lurking in every dark germ-infested corner.
