Unable to focus

Monday saw another rather unfocused piano lesson with Nigel and his teacher. She would be trying her best to tell him what to play and he would either be:

1. Rocking the piano chair OR
   
2. Playing some other funny tune OR
   
3. Pointing out some stray markings on the page OR
4. All the above at the same time

She literally got angry and raised her voice. I had to look away because I was too embarrassed, also because I almost burst out laughing.

I asked him after the class if he was tired and he said no.

Me: Nigel if you're tired just tell me. You can't focus if you're tired.
Nigel: Or if you're blind.
