Children in Recession

This recession is not getting any better in a hurry.

How do you explain to a young child what financial turmoil is when they are so used to getting most of the things they want? Food? Toys? Clothes? In a negative way, I guess they're taking everything for granted. In a positive way, they've been living life to the fullest and we've protected them from the hardships of life. After all, you're only young once and your childhood should be filled with memories of joy, fullness and the abundance of life.

Two sides to it I guess, like most things. Spoiling the children? To a certain extent.

If I lose my job, I'll re-write this blog entry. :)
