Goodbye Two Oh Oh Eight
So another year has whizzed by - the days just get quicker and quicker.
Besides the financial turmoil, we had quite a good year. The children had fun, spent their first full year in school (both of them start at a different school in a couple of days time), made lots of friends and matured considerably emotionally and mentally - although I would say they still have a long way to go, but at 3 and 5 years old, I'm not expecting too much at this point - kids will be kids.
Amber's grown nicely from a small wailing bundle to a large wailing, walking bundle. She's the cutey of the bunch and she knows it. As I've mentioned, she sits in her stroller and waves at strangers trying to get their attention: "Look at me, look at me, I'm the cutey of the bunch". Her elder two siblings do 1 of two things - try to carry her around or (accidentally, although sometimes I have my doubts) knock her over.
Oh well - they're in bed now and the next time they wake up it'll be 2009. No fireworks, no loud music, no auld lang syne - just peaceful dreamland (for both parents and children) until the new year is upon us.
Pictures? Ah yes, I have some. I'll put them up soon.
Happy New Year everyone.
