It's been the holidays again
Yes - this past week has been the week-long school holidays again. Shannon still has school, but Nigel's just bumming at home - what a bum.
Actually no - he's been kept relatively busy.
+ Last Friday (Teachers' Day celebration day - Nigel didn't have school already! Wow! Long weekend heading into the holidays!!) I brought Nigel to toe cinema to watch Waaaallll-E. I'm not sure if he really enjoyed it as we spent half the time with his hands covering his ears and the other half with his hands in the popcorn box.
+ Saturday afternoon was spent at the RSAF Open House - more hands covering the ears, but he genuinely enjoyed going around looking at the planes, helicopters and stuff. We spent half an hour on sitting on the floor of the food hangar eating donuts while the rain poured down outside.
+ Mum and Dad brought everyone to visit the zoo - Shannon too - on Monday, which was Teachers' Day. I had to go to the office, so I didn't get to see the other type of animals. :)
+ I brought Nigel to try and cycle with ONLY TWO WHEELS, with limited success, we have to keep going at this.
+ Chinese class was still on this Wednesday - apparently when you learn Chinese, they don't teach you how to say "holiday", not until you're proficient enough I guess. And Shannon had an excursion to the Omnimax theatre that day too while we spent the morning swimming at Edelweiss, soaking up the sun and freezing in the pool!
+ Thursday, today, was Thomas day. All the kids (minus Amber who was at home sleeping) got to see Thomas Saves The Day at the Expo. It was a lively kiddy musical with singing, dancing and nosy trains on the stage!!
It's going to be a busy weekend too!
