We were at the parade!

Celest's mum got tickets for us to go to the National Day Parade at the Marina Bay Floating Platform. The slight rain that came down gave us a chance to make us of the raincoats in our fun-packs - we also waved our flags around and give each other high-fives using our air-gloves.

Nigel spent a considerable amount of time covering his ears (and rightly so, as the sound system was super-loud) but Shannon throroughly enjoyed herself singing Singapore songs ("We Are Singapore" is her favourite), watching the Black Knights zooming around and just taking in the 6-minute long fireworks display at the end.

This is the first time we've all gone (except Amber of course) for the parade as a family - last year it was just Nigel and me. Hopefully we'll get to go again next year!! Hooray!
