Discrimination against Monsters
When babies are born, they are completely neutral. No preference over, race, culture, species. They are innocent and "blind" to worldly discrimination - it doesn't matter if you're human or alien.
And then the scare tactics come along. If you're naughty, the policeman will arrest you - discrimination against local law enforcement. If you don't listen to me, the cockroach will bite you - discrimination against dirty insects. If you come down from the chair, the monster will catch you - discrimination against another species.
Why do we treat them to discriminate? We're tried to stop - but the domestic help hasn't and she seems to find it to be the most effective method in making them do things. I would say it's the simple way out - but long term effects-wise, I don't think it's wise. In their lives, they are bound to bump into some monsters, and some of them aren't as nasty as they've been brought up to think.
