Bye Bye Edelweiss (for now)

10Today is the day when our apartment at Edelweiss begins to officially house someone else - after (kinda) staying there for 15 months, we've decided to rent it out so that we can move on and look for a bigger place that will fit our larger family.

It was a sad experience clearing out the stuff, kids toys, clothes, cutlery and stuff - yet, it is a step in the right direction as we look ahead into a future with 3 growing children.

We're heading down later to do the official handover to the tenants - hopefully they take good care of the place. We might eventually move back in again next time after Nigel, Shannon and Amber grow up and move out. But you never know - retirement home of sorts.

As of today, we are landlords. Wow - we love lording over things.
