This is the way we brush our teeth
I remember when I was young that brushing teeth in the morning would really wake me up. Some how, in that magic minute, my mind would go from sleepy-drunkenness to complete alertness. It was either the toothpaste or brushing motion that did the trick.
This morning as I woke Nigel up at 7am (Celest was feeding Amber), I was watching his face closely to see if that minty morning madness kicked in. I think it did, to a certain extent. It was tough waking him up, but his motor got started relatively fast.
Conclusion: Keeping your breath fresh is secondary - the real aim is to wake you up.
