So far, so good
It'll be Shannon's 5th day in school tomorrow and she seems to be enjoying (actually somewhat indifferent, neutral to) it so far. It's a bit hard to tell - but it's only 3 hours in the morning, so I think it's manageable.
Nigel, in my opinion, however, has been showing some signs of "jealousy" to a certain extent. He's always looking for opportunities to have one-up on her - like when Celest mentioned she was bringing them to watch Barney today, Nigel automatically assumed that Mei Mei wouldn't be coming. But she was - and I think he felt inside that she was getting the best of everything. Hopefully this will make him look forward more to kindergarten when it starts for him next year.
He's been going almost every morning to send her off to school with Celest, so it's a bit of a reversal of roles from the last time when we attempted to send him. I think he's also a bit surprised that she hasn't started crying - but then again, I could be reading too deeply into his expressions.
The kids (especially Nigel) enjoyed watching Toy Story earlier this evening. That was fun.
