Shannon's coming down the pole!
I brought the children to the playground yesterday and Shannon turned out to be the real monkey she is.
It took me just 5 minutes to teach her how to slide down the fireman's pole and next thing you know, she's sliding down all by herself. Too bad Celest wasn't there to watch her - she's really confident. Next thing you know, she's be climbing up the pole.
Nigel, on the other hand, is very cautious and after a while didn't dare to try any more. Seeing his younger sister zooming down the slide on her own didn't make any difference - he was happy going down the slide. However, based on past experience, he'll probably pick up the courage on our next visit and I'll be dealing with 2 firemen (or fire-persons, to be politically correct)!
