Snip Snip!
The children are really into cutting these days - the term running around with scissors is a real event that happens regularly at our place. Not only that, there's paper everywhere and half-torn magazines litter the floor. You don't know what is rubbish, and what is gold, and there's always a real risk of upsetting someone by throwing their precious work away.
Sometimes the children cut out a little piece of something as a present to you, and you have no choice but to keep it. It's their way of giving you a gift - it's cute I have to admit. But the cutting skills need to improve though. See the little pink dog that Shannon gave me a couple weeks back - I keep it in my bag when I go to work, whip it out occasionally and smile to myself.
