Why do we spend
Why do we spend so much time (years for some) and money (tens of thousands likely) trying to have children when all we do after is scream at them, punish them and looks for ways to get rid of them (well maybe for a week or two)?
It's the same everywhere. Parents seem happy, triumphant even, when they manage to get a babysitter, grandparent or someone else to take these very same precious children out of their hands. Some send them to infant-care as early as they can.
What's the point? I have to catch myself and remind myself too - and the punishment, it's for their long term good and because we love them - although it's hard for anyone to see that sometimes.
