There is a chapter where Morrie talks about having children, and this is what he says.
In this world where many are caught up in their daily lives, careers, personal goals and so on, many will miss out on the opportunity to have children, some by choice. They will be losing out on an integral part of living - bearing and bringing up new life, the chance to share their lives and love, to give and give without expecting anything in return.

If you want the experience of having complete responsibility for another human being, and to learn how to love and bond in the deepest way, then you should have children.
