Raisins & sweetcorn
Last week, Shannon was down with stomach flu. We had lunch @Ikea on Thur & she puked 3 times in the evening that day. She skipped her dinner & went to bed early. In the wee hours, she had a slight fever & kept asking for raisins but I only fed her milk & water. At 5ish, I guess she couldn't take the hunger anymore. She continued to ask for raisins & didn't get back to bed so I brought her downstairs for some cereals. After eating a handful, she coughed & puked whatever she ate. She was so lethargic even the next morning I decided to bring her to the doc. That was when I found out she had stomach flu & for that & some medicine, I paid $101.
Since then, her appetite has not been the same. She used to eat whatever was served (even asking for more!!) but since the puking episode, she somehow discovered she could "spit" food out using her tongue. Every meal time is no longer a breeze. Either she doesn't eat at all or she eats only a quarter of what is served with difficulty. The only things she eats without fuss are raisins & sweetcorn (the latter being difficult to digest so it comes out in her poo almost immediately).
It's driving me nuts so I hope she'll get over this real quick. I miss my Shanny the "everything also eat" girl...
