Palace People
On our last morning, we made a quick trip to the Royal Palace. There is no longer any royalty in Korea (hence it's a People's Republic) but they have maintained the grounds as a tourist attraction based on it's vastness of space and nice scenery.
We ended up having to rush back to the hotel by taking the subway and then hopping on to a (moving) taxi. I spent 15 minutes packing everything up - I don't think I left anything behind, except maybe some strands of hair in the sink. Gross.
The flight back was fast - and based on my movie watching schedule, about an hour too short. I was trying to finish up The Da Vinci Code, the much talked about book and movie. Since I had the opportunity, I thought I give it go. Quite interesting I must say, although very controversial as every other person in the world has put it.
I also watched Click, which was a rather touching and realistic (not the funny remote control though) which tries to show the balances in life that one should take. Which brings me back home to the family - where I try to spend quality time with.
Overall - a short but exciting trip where I got the work done (well, most of it) and also managed to get some sights of Seoul with a couple of good work buddies! Thanks guys!
