Blame it on the haze
Even if those farmers in Indonesia weren't busy burning up their forests and sending those huge plumes of smoke our way, I don't think the air would be much cleaner. Just looking around, what excatly are we doing to try to at least reduce the extra pollution we are sending into our air? People are still making their own little sticks of fire - puffing away on their mini forest fire cigarettes. Why don't you just open your mouth and take a deep breadth? People are still driving around unaware of the pollution their cars give out. It's at times like these when environmental issues should become even more prominent in one's head. Plan your trips and take the bus. Those workers are still taking those grass-blowing thingies and causing huge clouds of dust and leaves. Is that helping? Are we paying these guys to have fun with a dust blower? Ironically, they're wearing masks. So, we blame it on our neighbours. No doubt, the culprits are sitting hundreds of miles away - ignorant or blatantly uncaring about others in the region. But what are we doing to help ourselves? We sit on our backsides pointing our fingers and covering our noses. | ||
