2nd day of school
Woke Nigel up today @8.20am to get ready for school. However, by the time he got ready & finished eating his breakfast, it was 9.25 & we had to rush him off to his school. It's just a short 5-10mins walk but with a kid, it can take ages! And so we were late. School starts @9.30am after asembly but we got there about 9.35 Good thing the kids were all still hanging around the assembly hall so Nigel didn't miss his class.
After dropping Nigel off to school, I brought Shanny & Isti, my maid, to Bedok central for a walk. When we returned, it was barely 12.30 It's amazing how an early start can give you so much more time!
Shanny's taking her afternoon nap now. Am waiting for 5pm so I can go & pick Nigel up. It's been a weird 2 days without him. It's like I'm enjoying the free time I have for Shanny & myself but on the other hand, the whole house feels so empty without Nigel. Even when Saffy came over yesterday, something seemed lacking. The playing seemed so subdued. No screaming & laughter sounds...everything seemed so quiet, it's kinda scary. Will have to get used to it. Anyway, if we start sending Nigel to school, it'll be only 3 times a week (can't decide on 1/2 or full day yet)
Wonder what his experiences are in school today & if he's still eating "just white rice" for lunch...bwahahahahahaa!
