5 figure salary?
My friend asked if Leonard makes 5 figure salary a month. I laughed & asked what makes her think so. The reply? He's allowed to work from home so she presumes he must hold a pretty high position in the office.
You see, Leonard works in HP & he's allowed to work from home some days especially those where he has to make early conference calls. But that does not mean he holds a high position nor does he make 5 figure salary a month. If he were, I'll probably be out having tea, doing my hair, getting manicures/pedicures & shopping everyday!
Then how do we get by with 2 kids & only a single income (I stopped work ever since my 1st boy Nigel was born)? Live within your means, I told her. Make do with whatever you have & cut back on unnecessary expenses. It's a choice you have to make. You cannot have the best of both worlds. You can choose to provide them with material goods or choose to give them your time & watch them grow.
Nothing beats spending those precious moments with my darlings. I made my choice & am glad I did.
