Nigel and Saffie
Our friends, Bernard and Roanne, got married yesterday in church. They picked Nigel to be their page boy and Saffie to be their flower girl.
Here are the young couple as they walked (relatively) slowly down the aisle - very cute right? Notice the dot on Nigel's cheek - that's not make up or anything, it's a mosquitoe bite that he received a few days before and refused to go away. In fact it got bigger. Well - that's one for their wedding album then.
The walk went surprising well - during the rehearsal there were all kinds of combinations of running, jumping, sitting to lying down flat face down on the church floor. We were prepared for anything actually. Nigel was surprising sobre and focused on his task at hand (Saffie's that is :) ) and was very calm and collected.
Of course, there has to be a bit of fun right? When Debbie went to the front to "collect" them and bring them to the back - the inadvetently ended up walking down the aisle again, behind the bride and groom!! I think they thought it was like another rehearsal when they had to walk again and again. The bride and groom didn't notice though - but some others did, hence the giggles.
