One A380 coming up

We brought Nigel and Shannon to see the flying display of the Asian Aerospace (last one to be held in Singapore) yesterday morning. Dad came along too.

It was really hot, but there were quite alot of people standing around along the beach area watching the few plans (about 7 maybe in total) fly around.

As expected, Nigel was afraid of the loud sounds of the fighter jets - somehow Shannon didn't care at all. She didn't even seem to mind the heat as she sat in the stroller. But Nigel, he was covering his ears and screaming away trying to drown out the loud zooming noises.

The "star" of the show, as every one calls it, was the Airbus A380 decked out in SIA colours. This was the only plane I took pictures off as the rest were too small, too fast and would only appear as a dot in my image. This one was really big and quite slow - it's amazing how such a big plane was doing such agile moves in the air - it seemed like it could have just fallen out of the sky into the water at any time. Nigel and Shannon weren't very impressed though - let's try again in 2 years at the new Singapore Aerospace show!
